Birchmere Scout Campsite, Surrey, South-east England
About Birchmere
Set in four square miles of woodland and heathland, Birchmere Campsite is the ideal setting for a traditional Scout and Guide camp.
The site has ample room for up to 100 campers with plenty of room left over for on-site activities. In addition there is a wooded area - Woolgers Wood - that is perfect for bivvy-style camping, string trails or nature walks for Beavers and younger Cubs.
Wisley Common provides ample scope for navigation exercises, wide games and spotting local flora and fauna.
Adjoining Wisley Common are Silvermere and Ockham Commons with extensive wood and heathland extending your walks over longer distances without having to get back in the mini-bus.
