The Retreat and Birch Lodge
The Retreat and Birch Lodge are two large open-plan rooms ideal for use as a wet-weather activity centre, dining room, classroom or common room with tables and chairs for up to 30-people. Both have a well-fitted and modern kitchen area including propane gas cooker and hob, upright fridge/freezer, sink, storage and ample work surfaces for food preparation and serving. A kettle and urn are provided and there are heaters in each room. The Retreat and Birch Lodge have a connecting door enabling both rooms to be used by one group.. A recent addition is a full length canopy across the front of the buildings extending the area available for use under cover.
